This will probably be our last post concerning the 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour, but rest assured, there is always next year! If you follow American Resto Mods news, you know that for the last few months we have been working on Rutledge Wood‘s (Top Gear on History co-host) 1949 Chevrolet Stepvan. The goal was to give it a brand new chassis, a 500 hp crate engine from Chevy Perfomance, Wheels from Asanti, exhaust from Magnaflow, and a boatload of other goodies provided by Summit Racing Equipment—all before the 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour kicked off.
We are proud to say “mission accomplished” and excited to have another happy customer leaving our building with a sweet ride. Don’t believe us? Check out the video proof below!
We are Hot Rod Power Tour veterans at this point, so if you are interested in any of our past blogs on the show, the cars we have taken, and our long haul experience on the Tour, click here. We even put together a handy dandy Unofficial Hot Rod Power Tour Guide for the newbs. Hope you enjoy!
