Jerry DeLong

Jerry DeLong,  Bodywork

“My goal is to always make sure that the form fits the function.”

Jerry has been honing his restoration skills for 10 years now. His first full restoration was his fathers 1966 Ford F100, which he still drives in to work on occasion. While he completed all of the restoration tasks for the F100, from the paint and body to the engine rebuild, he finds body work to be the most enjoyable. Jerry says, “My goal is to always make sure that the form fits the function”. That goal combined with the satisfaction he feels by “making something out of nothing”, make Jerry an ideal body man.

Jerry’s interest in classic vehicles can be characterized by the 1957 Bel-Air. The 57’ Bel-Air is an American icon for its classic styling, which jerry finds the most appealing aspect of it. Jerry’s other automotive interest include streetrods and classic pick-ups. In his free time he can be found street-rodding his 47’ Plymouth special deluxe.
