Our Services
Our focus is on American made vehicles from 1920's to the 1970's. We provide full restorations, custom work, storage and regular maintenance for vehicles of these eras. So whether it's a concourse restored 1935 Ford Phaeton trailer queen, a custom rat rod, a 60's muscle car or a chromed out 56 Chevy with a flame job – you'll find it in our shop.
Full Restorations
A full restoration puts a car in the same condition as when it was new. This process includes not only repair of the parts that can be seen – the body, the trim, the chrome, the wheels, the dash board and interior – but also the parts that are not necessarily visible including the driveline, engine compartment, suspension, trunk, frame, brakes, cooling system, and electrical system.
Custom Fabrication
Fabrication is an important part of a full restoration when correct replacement parts are not available. For Resto Mods and Hot Rods fabrication is the norm. Almost every project will require fabrication of mounts, brackets, or other parts to allow for the proper assembly and provide that custom look and feel.
Hot Rods
In the 1930's 40's 50's and 60's hot rods meant modifying the family car and creating a personalized souped up ride. Nowadays due to the enormous popularity of owning a vintage hot rod there are almost unlimited solutions for modern drivability and comfort in a personalized package. Whether you choose a vintage car, kit car, or resurrect an old hot rod, here at American Resto Mods we have the skills, craftsmanship, and tools to guide you in building your dream.
Maintenance
We're not just about building your dream car; we'll also keep it running down the road. We perform anything from a simple oil change and lube, to tune ups, brake work, electrical problems, AC service, and, of course, a buff and wax. Unlike modern repair shops we know how to maintain and repair classic cars.
Custom Paint and Body
Many people do not realize that a quality restoration shop like American Resto Mods produces a car with a fit and finish that is often superior to the factory original. In our experienced hands, Body Work means the meticulous alignment of each body panel and the fitting of every molding, mirror and emblem on the car. Every piece is fit and refit. Hinges are re-bushed. All-new rubber seals and bumpers are installed – everything to ensure that gaps are tight, the car sits square and everything lines up beautifully. This attention to detail happens in addition to all of the steps we take to create a flawless and lasting paint finish!
We approach all projects with the same core philosophy – We do things right, the first time!
